VULKEMŽ elastomeric polyurethane coatings cure to become an impervious highly elastic floor covering on old or new substrates of concrete, ceramic tiles, metal and wood. The VULKEMŽ polyurethane coatings exhibit superior waterproofing, sealing and aging qualities as well as excellent adhesion and elongation characteristics for bridging cracks. VULKEMŽ deck systems are used for balconies, terraces, roof decks, stadium bleachers and areas requiring a durable coating. VULKEMŽ deck systems include specially developed sealants used for joints to vertical surfaces, gutters and drains and a non-woven polyester geotextile for reinforcement purposes. These special accessory products are engineered to be compatible with all the complete VULKEMŽ deck systems.
VULKEMŽ UNICOLOR SYSTEM VULKEMŽ COLOUR FLAKES SYSTEM

The system commences with a heavy duty layer of VulkemŽ 450 with addition of silica sand. VulkemŽ 450 has an elongation of approximately 1000% and therefore can absorb building movements without cracking. VulkemŽ 451, an U.V. and wear resistant coating, is applied as yhe finish layer. VulkemŽ 451 is available in different colours. The VulkemŽ unicolor system gives an elastic, smooth, waterproof and easy to clean surface. The system can be applied up to 15 cm in the vertical plane to ensure 100% waterproof connections.

The first layer consists of a flexible membrane layer of VulkemŽ 450 filled with silica sand. After curing, VulkemŽ 451 in the desired colour is applied. Into the wet surface colour flackes in different colour flakes in different colour combinations are sprinkled. Finally, a sealer, VulkemŽ 451 transparent clear is applied. The system is decorative, elastic and waterproof. The surface is smooth and easy to clean.

VULKEMŽ COLOUR QUARTZ SYSTEM

VulkemŽ 450, wich acts as the elastic and waterproof base of this system, is applied and filled with silica sand. After curing of the VulkemŽ 450 layer, transparent VulkemŽ 451 is applied, with coloured quartz broadcast into the freshly applied material. When the layer is cured and loose quartz removed, the surface is sealed with another layer of transparent VulkemŽ 451. The finished floor covering is highly elastic, waterproof and antislip. The surface has a high wearing resistance. The system can also be applied up to 15 cm in the vertical plane.

VULKEMŽ QUARTZ STONE CARPET

The same high elastic and waterproof layer of VulkemŽ 450 as for the colour quartz systems forms the base. A mixture of clear VulkemŽ 451 and coloured 2-3 mm quartz aggregate is applied over the VulkemŽ 450. The layer is approximately 4-6 mm thick and shows an open stone carpet surface. If a more easy to clean surface is required, one more layers of clear VulkemŽ 451 can be applied. The finished surface has a rustic stone appearance and has a good wearing resistance.

VULKEMŽ 116:
A gun grade flexible sealant for constructin joints and connections between horizontal and vertical surfaces.

VULKEMŽ 171 PRIMER:
A primer that increases the adhesion of VulkemŽ 450 to tiles and concrete substrates.

 VULKEMŽ FABRIC:
A non-woven geotextile to be used as a reinforcement for VulkemŽ 450 i.e. over cracks and certain joints.

VULKEMŽ 111:
A two component polyurethane primer for asphalt based substrates.
